Our Year 6 Quiz Team lost on a tie-break question in a nailbiting second round match on the last day before Easter. Despite their disappointment, they were great ambassadors for our school. Well done to Aidan, Lara, Mackenzie and Nathan.
Creative Arts Week - Week commencing 20 May
During Creative Arts week we will be looking at ‘The Art of Recycling’ and would therefore be very grateful if every child could please bring in a plastic bag (preferably one of the thinner ones) and any spare ribbon you may have at home. Please could children these into into the office. Many thanks.
The Help Uganda Trust is looking for laptop computers or mobile phones that can be given to the young people of St Michael's to assist them with their studies. If you have any in good condition that you would like to donate please leave them in the St Erconwald's Sacristy or take to the Walton Parish Office. Salesian School - Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme
With an increasing number of our students choosing the healthly option of cycling to school Salesian School is looking to provide further safe and secure cycle storage. In addition to this, they have been working on improving access to the school for wheelchair users and plan to install access ramps to the science classrooms.
They have been successful in earning a place on the Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme , whereby shoppers can vote for our project throughout May & June. Voting can be done in all Tesco stores in Addlestone, , Chertsey, East Molesey, Hersham, Hurst Park, Walton-on-Thames and Weybridge. They would be very grateful for your support. Thank you.
