We were delighted to welcome Mrs Chijiutomi to talk about Black History Month and the theme of “Honouring Our Communities”. Her visit offered an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of Black communities and reflect on how we can help everyone feel valued and included.

This connects with the British Values of mutual respect and tolerance, encouraging us to appreciate different backgrounds and experiences. It also reflects Catholic Social Teaching through human dignity, solidarity and the common good, reminding us that we are all made in God’s image and called to build a welcoming, caring community. Thank you, Mrs Chijiutomi, for sharing this important message with us.
