Y1 Brooklands Trip

As part of our learning about the history of transport, pupils from Cardinal Newman Catholic Primary School enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to Brooklands Museum. Throughout the day, the children explored how transport has changed over time and discovered the important role Brooklands played in British motoring and aviation history.

The pupils took part in a fun and interactive peg racers workshop, where they designed and tested their own racing vehicles. They also enjoyed a guided tour around the museum, learning fascinating facts about historic cars, motorcycles, and aircraft. A highlight of the trip was visiting the bus museum and exploring a range of aeroplanes, including the iconic Concorde. The visit was a fantastic opportunity to bring our classroom learning to life and inspire curiosity about the development of transport through the years.
